Carry on Jatta 2 is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster film, Carry on Jatta. The movie features some big names from Pollywood with Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla, Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma and Karamjit Anmol returning to feature in this version. This movie stars Sonam Bajwa in the leading female role and Upasana Singh and Jyoti Sethi are featured in the supporting roles.

The first sequel, Carry on Jatta had set a benchmark in Punjabi Film Industry. So, it's sequel was a big challenge for its star cast to meet which they had to work very hard. Carry on Jatta 2 is expected to release on 1st June and picks up the fun where its previous version ends.

The story follows, Gippy Grewal, who plays the role of an orphan (Jass), a happy go lucky guy whose major aim in life is to go to Canada by any means possible. After several unsuccessful attempts, Jass decided to marry a Canadian girl, which is the only option left to go to Canada. For which he takes help from his friend and does his best to convince the girl to marry him.
