Naaz Joshi: Know all about India's first transgender to win International beauty pageant

First Indian transgender wins International beauty pageant: The name is not very familiar, yet her astonishing achievement will make every Indian proud. Naaz Joshi, a Delhi local transgender became the country’s first transgender international beauty queen. A trans-right activist and a motivational speaker is grabbing wonders with every step.

Early life struggle

The 34-Year-old beauty inspiration had suffered severe humiliation in the past. Her battle started when she was 10 years old. In school, he was often taught to act masculine despite of his gender issues. Nevertheless, Naaz never felt like a boy from the inside. Naaz’s mother pushed him away from the family after knowing the truth about her son’s physiology.

Life-threats

The little lost boy was then taken to Mumbai by the materials. But Mumbai awaited more vulnerabilities for the innocent child. He was brutally gang-raped by the inhuman claws of the city. Soon the boy was taken to the hospital, where Naaz was adopted by Mumbai’s trans community. It was never the end for Naaz. She continued her life studying and became a sex worker along with many others. Soon, she was terrified by the city’s darkness and fell into depression at the age of 18.

Life Achievements 

Miss Joshi fought the battle strong and handily and after completing her graduation from some renowned institutions of the country, Naaz worked for gender sensitization with the former Member of Parliament, Dr. Udit Raj. She has also worked on woman's awareness about constitutional rights and menstrual hygiene.

Motivation to others

Once oppressed by depression, is a figure of inspiration today for the people belonging to the LGBTQIA  community. The then-sex worker was also invited as a TEDX speaker in Mathura in 2019. Miss Joshi won ‘Miss World diversity’ three times in a row. India’s first cover model and the world’s first transsexual to win international pageantry along with a cisgender woman with other six international crowns is also the brand ambassador of Tritan Solutions Pvt limited.
