Have you ever heard of a Bollywood remake of a Punjabi film? No, Right! However, all Punjabi and Bollywood movie fans will be pleased to learn that, for the first time, Bollywood will adapt a Punjabi film.

Yes, according to sources, the Punjabi rom-com 'Kala Shah Kala,' starring Sargun Mehta, Jordan Sandhu, and Binnu Dhillon, is slated to be recreated in Bollywood, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Binnu Dhillon.

According to a person close to the situation, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was enthralled by the storyline and volunteered.

The paperwork and other procedures are still being finalised, according to the source, and the film is set to begin production in 2022. The producers are presently finalising the dates, according to the source, and the female lead has yet to be decided.
