'Salman Khan knew how to weave thread on Charkha' , said Sabarmati Ashram's official on his visit to the ashram

Salman Khan's admirers flocked in droves to the Mahatma Gandhi Ashram in Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, to meet and welcome the Antim star.

In his own capacity, Bollywood actor Salman Khan paid a visit to the Sabarmati ashram while in Ahmedabad to promote his film Antim: The Final Truth. Following the ashram visit, a promotional event was held in an Ahmedabad multiplex.

After arriving at the ashram at noon, Salman took a tour of Mahatma Gandhi’s residence known as Hriday Kunj till 1930. After reaching there he tried using Charkha and the picture of the same has gone viral on the internet.

An official at the ashram also revealed that for someone new it is difficult to weave out thread but to their surprise, Salman actually did that.

In the advisor visit Salman Khan wrote a message while leaving which read, “I am so privileged to come here I absolutely love it it’s a great honor will never forget this place ever 1st time on the charka was fun amazing lots of Respect God Bless Gandhiji’s soul the father of the nation hope to visit again when I come back to learn more…”

Salman has been occupied promoting his film ‘Antim’ and he informed the Sabarmati Ashram Preservation and Memorial Trust (SAPMT), last night about his visit. The management immediately accepted the personal visit and also arranged for it

For only 12 to 15 minutes he visited the place and was happy to see the maintenance.  Gujarat Government and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation have imitated the redevelopment project which has been centrally funded for its maintenance.
