Sardaar Ji: Diljit Dosanjh And Mandy Takhar Share Lesser Known Facts About Movie

PTC Punjabi will air Diljit Dosanjh, Mandy Takhar, and Neeru Bajwa starrer ‘Sardaar Ji’ on June 1, Saturday at 8:30 PM. Besides, the movie also stars Jaswinder Bhalla in an important role. Directed by Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, the movie was an instant hit at the box office.

In the film, Diljit Dosanjh plays the role of a ghosthunter, who gets invited to England to catch a lady ghost. The fantasy movie is one of the first fantasy films of Punjabi cinema.

In conversation with PTC Punjabi, Diljit reveals that he always wanted to have a fantasy film in Punjabi cinema. Since there are many fantasy movies like Harry Potter and Pirates of Caribbean are being made in Hollywood, he wanted this for Punjabi cinema.

Diljit and Mandy Takhar remember the stunt scenes of the movie as the most unforgettable moments. However, Diljit says that he was less terrified to do those than Mandy, who created nuisance at the sets.

Diljit and Mandy have shared screen space for the first time in the movie, and Mandy reveals that she has always been a fan of Diljit. She feels blessed to have work with him.

On the other hand, Diljit and Mandy have also worked with Rohit for the first time. Rohit’s technicality impressed them as they have learnt through his technical nature and work.

Diljit also said that Mandy is an amazing Bhangra dancer as she danced on the songs of the movie.
