Shah Rukh Khan, aka King Khan in Bollywood, has millions of fans. By bringing the women's cricket team to the Knight Riders franchise, SRK is prepared to start a revolution and lead by example. For the uninitiated, SRK is a co-owner of the Knight Riders and just presented the Trinbago Knight Riders' women's team to the rest of the world.
According to sources, the new women's squad, which will compete in the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) for the first time this year, would be named after the old team.
TKR's performance in the Women's Caribbean Premier League's opening match may be seen (WCPL). SRK announced his ownership of TKR to his Twitter followers.
SRK in a tweet wrote, “This is such a happy moment for all of us at KKRiders, ADKRiders, and of course the lovely set of people at TKRiders. Hope I can make it there to see this live!!”
Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors, in addition to TKR, are the other two teams known to have entered the competition. The women's CPL will take place at the same time as the men's.
Shah Rukh, who co-owns the Knight Riders Group with actor Juhi Chawla, was unable to attend the IPL auction in February. The stars were represented at the ceremony by Shah Rukh Khan's daughters Aryan and Suhana Khan, and Juhi's daughter Jhanvi Mehta. During the 2022 IPL, Suhana, Aryan, and their younger brother AbRam went to KKR's matches in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, SRK was last seen in Zero and will next be seen in the highly anticipated film 'Pathaan.' Aside from that, the actor will appear in Atlee's directorial debut, 'Jawan.'
