Shocking! Crew Member Dies On The Set Of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh

In a freak incident, a crew member of the film Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles, died on the set before the commencement of the shooting in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.

35-year-old Ram Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, lost his life after his muffler got entangled in the generator’s fan while he was busy in checking the water level in the generator.

According to the reports, Ram Kumar sustained serious injuries on his head. He was then immediately rushed to nearby hospital where he was put on the ventilator for a few hours before he passed away.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss. We are extending our deepest sympathies to the family of Mr Ram Kumar. We are offering support to the family in the immediate aftermath of this tragic event,” The producers of the film, Cine1 Studios and T Series Films, have issued a joint statement.

The movie is a remake of a hit Telegu film ‘Arjun Reddy’ that featured Vijay Deverakonda in the titular role. Directed by Sandeep Vanga, ‘Kabir Singh’ will hit the silver screens on June 21, 2019.
