Sidhu Moose Wala's family writes to Amit Shah seeking probe in the murder

Sidhu Moose Wala's family is going through a tough time after the demise of their only son on May 29. The singer was shot dead in his hometown in Punjab. the whole nation is praying for Sidhu's justice.

The news of Sidhu Moose Wala's death has shattered everyone. Now, according to the sources, Sidhu's family has written to Union Minister Amit Shah to seek probe from the Centre to look into the matter.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister, met with Moose Wala's father on June 2 and confirmed the information.

Unidentified gunmen shot and killed Moose Wala on May 29 in Punjab's Mansa district, a day after the AAP-led Punjab government had reduced his security cover.

Videos have flooded social media platforms from his murder scene to his last rites in his own village. One of the videos of the singer's father imitating his distinctive move of smacking thigh and presenting pointed finger in the sky has brought tears to the eyes of netizens.

The singer's Antim Bhog, according to Sidhu Moose Wala's official Instagram page, will take place on June 8.

Earlier, in a letter to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Balkaur Singh, Sidhu Moose Wala's father, demanded that the CBI and NIA investigate his son's death. The Chief Minister of Punjab has agreed to all of the demands.
