Singer KK death: Daughter Taamara pens a heartfelt note for beloved father

Singer KK death: KK, a well-known playback singer, has died. In front of his family, friends, and industry colleagues, he was creamed in Mumbai. The late singer's wife and children were inconsolable as Bollywood celebs lined up to pay their last tributes.

KK's daughter has written an emotional tribute for her father, who died of a suspected heart attack following a performance at a college in Kolkata on Tuesday.

KK's daughter Taamara shared information about the singer's final rites, which will be held at 1 p.m., on her Instagram story.

Sharing the details, she wrote, "Love you forever dad," along with a heart emoji.

The artist, whose real name is Krishnakumar Kunnath, performed a nearly hour-long performance at a college event in Nazrul Mancha, south Kolkata. On Tuesday night, KK died following a concert in Kolkata. He is thought to have passed out due to cardiac arrest, and footage from the concert revealed him to be in pain. He had been 53 years old for some time.

The lifeless remains of the popular singer were transferred from SSKM hospital to Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata on June 1. Jyoti, KK's wife, and their children were among those who paid their respects. On Wednesday, a pistol salute was fired at Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata, in honour of the late singer. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of Bengal, also paid her respects to KK.
