Sirjanhaari Episode 10: Sandeep Kaur Is A Ray Of Hope For Many ‘Abandoned’ Girls

The 10^th episode of PTC Punjabi’s TV show ‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ will be aired on October 13. The show has been getting overwhelming response from the audience for showcasing inspiring stories of women who battled odds to change the world around them.

The upcoming episode will showcase the journey of Sandeep Kaur Khalsa, who runs an NGO with the name ‘Bhai Dharam Singh Khalsa Charitable Trust’ at Sultanwind village in Amritsar.

Here is the synopsis of episode 10:

Sandeep Kaur Khalsa: She runs Bhai Dharam Singh Khalsa Charitable Trust at Sultanwind village in Amritsar. The aim of her trust is to provide shelter to ‘abandoned’ and ‘orphan’ girls. They also provide education to them so that they can stand on their own feet.

Started in 1996, the trust has sheltered many girls. Currently, 250 women are living with her at the NGO. All these women are either divorcee or they have lost their parents.
