Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi will talk about body shaming in their upcoming film 'Double XL'
For the first time, Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi have come together for an upcoming flick titled Double XL. The film talks about fat shaming while the two actors talk about the real experiences of themselves when they faced trolls in respect to their appearance.

The two girls have lived and faced the trolls long time and now they know well how to give back. The announcement video of the film has been released which portrays the actresses enjoying some drink and burger, along with discussing over fat-shaming.
In the introductory video, Huma talks about her character in the film named Rajshri Trivedi from Meerut while Sonakshi introduces herself as Saira Khanna belonging to Delhi. The two women going around in the city are having a good time and that’s all the video contains.
Huma’s question to Sonakshi kicks of the video as she asks how the two of them will reduce the weight they have put on for the film ‘Double XL’. In response to this Sonakshi says, “Just like we did for becoming a heroine for the first time, Have you forgotten the time when people used to say ‘Huma Qureshi is too heavy to be a leading lady?’
Adding to this Huma question Sonakshi, “And have you forgotten how people used to call you Motakshi in the comments section of your every promo and video?"

Followed by this Sonakshi asks Ms. Qureshi “Are we fat-shaming each other?” The reply then comes from the latter, “Why not, people consider fat-shaming a matter of pride in our country.”
From this one-minute introductory video, it is very clear that the film will feature the actress talking about body shaming which they have even faced from the trollers.

Such issues have never been discussed in any film to date but now such topics are being taken up. Appreciating such initiative a YouTuber commented, “A very good initiative to make movies based on these issues, never body-shame anyone. Coz no one knows what is going to happen in the upcoming seconds with anyone.”

Sonakshi Sinha and Uma Qureshi are talented actors of the industry and at the same time, they have been body-shamed many times. The film will speak about the same, which has been directed by Satramm Ramani, while it has been co-produced by Huma and her brother Saqib Saleem.
