Sonali Phogat murder case: Accused confess to 'mixing obnoxious chemical into liquid and making her drink'

Sonali Phogat Death Case: In a shocking development in Sonali Phogat's murder case, the two accused -- Sudhir Sangwan and his associate Sukhwinder Singh -- have confessed that they 'mixed an obnoxious chemical into the liquid and made her drink it'.

According to information, Goa IGP Omvir Singh Bishnoi made shocking revelations in the Sonali Phogat murder case and stated that it was not a case of heart attack.

The news agency ANI, Omvir Singh said that alleged Sudhir Sangwan and his associate Sukhwinder Singh were seen partying with Sonali Phogat at a club in a CCTV footage.

In the video, one of them can be seen forcefully making Sonali consume an obnoxious substance. He further said that upon confronted, the accused Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir Sangwan confessed they intentionally mixed obnoxious chemical into a liquid and made her drink it.

He added that both the accused, who were established in preliminary investigation, were arrested. Likewise, an expert of Foresnsic Science Laboratory (FSL) has been called.

Meanwhile, the accused will be sent with a team to various locations in an order collect more evidence, the Goa IPG said, adding that the further investigation is underway.

There has been so many twists and turns into the death case of Sonali Phogat and since her death, the family has been claiming that it was a murder.
