Sonam Kapoor's Delhi house robbed: a couple arrested in connection worth Rs 2.41 crore robbery

Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja's Delhi house robbery: In February, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's Delhi home was reportedly looted. Cash and jewelry worth Rs 2.41 crore were reportedly robbed.

Nurse Aparna Ruth Wilson and her husband Naresh Sagar were arrested by the police on Wednesday. According to the police, Wilson worked as a nurse to assist Ahuja's mother, while Sagar is an accountant at a private corporation in Shakarpur.

 

According to a senior police officer, the matter was passed to the crime branch, which deployed teams to Ahuja's house to conduct raids and question house helps and other staff.

The jewels and cash that were stolen have yet to be found. The inquiry is also ongoing, according to the police, and employees at the Amrita Shergill Marg house have been questioned.

Sarla Ahuja, Anand's grandmother, claimed she discovered the theft on February 11 when she went through her cupboards looking for jewelry and cash. She hadn't looked at the jewelry in over two years. On February 23rd, a complaint was filed.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed under section 381 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (stealing of master's property by a servant). During the investigation, more than 20 people who worked at the house were questioned.

Sonam and Anand, on the other hand, are expecting their first child in the near future.
