Veteran Singer Lata Mangeshkar passes away at 92; fans expresses grief

Singer Lata Mangeshkar who was in Breach Candy Hospital since last one month took a heavenly abode on February 6.

The singer health deteriorated on Saturday and she was again put under ventilation which was confirmed by her doctors.

Numerous Bollywood celebs and singers paid visit to the veteran singer on Saturday. Shraddha Kapoor, Asha Bhosle are some of the celebs who visited the singer.

The demise of the singer came as a shock to everyone in the industry as well as the audience.

As per the reports, Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after she was infected with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

Mangeshkar, who began her career at the age of 13 in 1942 and has over 30,000 songs to her credit in many Indian languages, is regarded as one of Indian cinema’s best singers. Lata Mangeshkar, often known as the Nightingale of India, has received various medals and honors, including the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, and the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, as well as multiple National Film Awards.
