Viral video of a man throwing cash in air: A video of a man tossing currency notes in the air at Hyderabad's Charminar has surfaced on Twitter. The video shows a man throwing Rs 500 notes into the air in the middle of the night, presumably during a baraat in the Old City. Asper the reports, the man is said to have been a part of a wedding ceremony and has been seen throwing Rs 500 cash notes on two occasions.
The viral video, which was shot in Hyderabad, showed a number of vehicles being held on the city's Gulzar Houz Road. The man's car was decorated to look like he was part of the wedding celebration. Meanwhile, they were all seen wearing kurtas and sherwanis. By tossing the notes in the air, they appear to be celebrating the function.
As a result, many people are rushing to the area to collect the cash that fell from the sky like rain. Others, on the other hand, were observed filming the entire event on their phones.
As soon as it was shared, a slew of individuals began to criticize on it. "When you have this much money to waste, it is preferable to spend it on poor people or donate to orphanage-run institutions," one individual wrote.
The authorities have now become aware of the video. Inspector B Guru Naidu of Charminar told, that the CCTV footage is being examined in order to identify the people involved.
He stated, "A person got down from a car, tossed the notes and left. With the help of CCTV cameras, we are enquiring when the incident took place. Suitable action will be initiated after verification is done."
