As captured in trending videos, the incident unfolded when Praveen Kumar, a resident of Multan Nagar on Baghpat Road, was driving his Defender car towards Pandav Nagar around 10 pm. In an unexpected turn of events, a Canter traveling in the opposite direction collided with their vehicle at a high speed near the Commissioner's Residence. Although Praveen Kumar's car sustained significant damage, both the cricketer and his son escaped unharmed. The incident attracted a crowd, and with their help, the driver of the Canter was successfully apprehended.
Upon receiving the information, the Civil Lines police station promptly dispatched their team to the location. CO Arvind Chaurasiya took charge of the scene, meticulously collecting all the necessary details pertaining to the accident. The driver of the Canter was swiftly detained and transported to the police station for further investigation. CO Chaurasiya assured the public that Praveen Kumar and his son were safe and sound, emphasizing that the Canter driver is currently undergoing questioning.
