Iconic Radio Host Ameen Sayani Passes Away at 91
Ameen Sayani Death News: Renowned for his warm voice and iconic radio show 'Binaca Geet Mala,' Ameen Sayani, a beloved figure in the world of Indian broadcasting, passed away at the age of 91 due to a heart attack. His son, Rajil Sayani, confirmed the sad news, stating that his father suffered a heart attack on Tuesday night and was rushed to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, where he later passed away.

Ameen Sayani was a familiar voice to millions of listeners, particularly for his signature greeting, 'Namaskar bhaiyon aur behno, main aapka dost Ameen Sayani bol raha hoon', which still resonates with nostalgia among his admirers.
His legendary show, "Binaca Geet Mala," aired for over 42 years, initially on Radio Ceylon and later on Vividh Bharati (AIR). Since 1951, Sayani's contributions to radio amounted to over 54,000 programs and 19,000 spots and jingles. Additionally, he made appearances in various films, including "Bhoot Bungla," "Teen Devian," "Boxer," and "Qatl," often portraying the role of an announcer.
