Jiah Khan case: Court to deliver final verdict regarding Sooraj Panchooli on April 28

The actress Jiah Khan's suicide case has made progress after a ten-year delay. Apparently, the court has decided to rule on the death case tomorrow, April 28, according to reports. An accusation of aiding suicide was made against actor Sooraj Pancholi, who dated Jiah Khan. Once a suicide letter that Jiah is said to have authored was discovered, the police also detained him.

The fate of her partner, actor Sooraj Pancholi, remains uncertain as a special CBI court in Mumbai is expected to rule on Friday, April 28. For aiding and abetting, he is accused.

On Thursday, Special CBI Judge AS Sayyad listened to the closing statements from both sides before reserving judgement.

The family member of Pancholi, who asked to remain anonymous to prevent the Court or the judgement from being swayed, said, "According to the case's merits, the entire family is in agreement. Yet, we are also concerned about the Special CBI Court number 52's upcoming decision, which is scheduled to be announced on April 28."

In June 2013, Jiah Khan, who had roles in films like Nishabd, Ghajini, and Housefull, committed suicide. Jiah Khan's alleged boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi has been accused of being involved in the killing of Jiah Khan since 2014. Jiah's mother, Rabiya Khan, repeatedly asserts that Jiah was treated poorly by Sooraj and his family while she was alive and that they are solely to blame for her passing.

The parents of Sooraj, Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, have adamantly maintained that their son was not at fault for Jiah's demise. The Pancholi family is currently hoping for a not-guilty verdict in the case involving Sooraj.
