Voice of Punjab Season 9 starts soon on PTC Punjabi

PTC Punjabi’s biggest singing talent hunt show ‘Voice of Punjab’ is coming up with a new season. The auditions were held in major cities in Punjab. Namely the major cities of Punjab i.e. Mohali, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and the holy city of Amritsar.

'Voice of Punjab’ is a one-of-a-kind platform for amazing voices waiting to be heard and is infact, the biggest singing reality show of Punjab.

The auditions received tremendous response with enthusiastic crowd taking part in the auditions with lot of excitement and ambitions in their hearts. In order to qualify obviously a lot of talent along with performance and confidence counts here. The judges are there to see the preparation and the practice involved when they judge a contestant.

Few of the contestants have been coming for last few years and still come again and again to try their luck.

The judges have a tough task as they are responsible to pick the gems from a huge talent pool. They have to choose the brightest from the talent on display. Talent is of foremost priority in this singing competition.

Who won the title in 2017?

In 2017, Punjab’s daughter Gurkirat Kaur won the title of ‘Voice of Punjab’ season 8. Besides, Gurmanter Singh and Surtal Kular won the first and second runner up titles. Gurkirat Kaur was awarded with Rs 1 lakh prize money and a chance to record a song with Punjabi superstar Mika’s musical company ‘Music and Sound’.

Who were the judges?

Miss Pooja, Roshan Prince and the melody singer Sachin Ahuja were the judges for ‘Voice of Season 8’.
