6 Special cuisine of Punjab you must try at least once in your lifetime

Punjab is known as the "Land of the Five Rivers." Apart from this,  Punjab is also well-known for its agriculture, clothing, culture, bravery, public service, and cuisine. Punjabi food is loved by both Punjabis and non-Punjabis alike.

Visitors from all around the country flock to Punjab to sample Punjabi cuisine. Many Punjabi cuisines, such as mustard greens, cornbread, lassi, Amritsari naan, tandoori chicken, and pinnies, are both tasty and nutritious.

Punjab is primarily a farming state. The traditional cuisine is mustard greens and cornbread. It is usually created indoors and is found in chilly temperatures. It's twice as tasty as cornbread with butter.

Amritsari Kulcha:

Amritsari Kulche is another specialty of Punjabi cuisine. Although it is a regional dish, it is available in a variety of flavors. It is devoured with zeal. It contains potatoes, cabbage, cheese, and a variety of other vegetables. They're frequently served with lassi and chickpeas. There are many different sorts of naans, such as butter naan, basic naan, stuffed naan, and so on.

Lassi:

Although lassi can be found almost anywhere, Punjabi lassi has its own unique taste. Salted lassi and sweet lassi are two types of lassi made with creamy milk. This is a must-try for everyone especially foreign visitors.

Makhan:

Well, we surely don’t want to miss this special item on the platter when it comes to the foods you must try. The churning of the milk separates butter and buttermilk. It is mostly used to eat with Parathas or even bread of any kind.

Tandoori Chicken or Butter Chicken is a unique dish for non-vegetarians. Butter Chicken, Punjab's Tandoori Chicken, is a popular dish. Tandoori chicken is made by marinating it in a tandoor with a variety of spices, curd, and other ingredients. This dish is famed in Amritsar for its delectable flavor.

Pinni

Everyone likes laddus in sweets, but Punjabis prefer pinni prepared with desi ghee. Flour, glue, linseed, dried fruits, and ghee are used to make this pinnis. It has a delectable flavor. These pinnies are wonderful for health as well as taste, thanks to the diversity of dried fruits, ghee, and other ingredients.
