After watching 'Dasvi' trailer, Amitabh Bachchan names Abhishek Bachchan as his 'uttaradhikaari'
Soon after the 'Dasvi' trailer was released, the Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has been garnering a lot of praises for his performance in it, and seems like his father Amitabh Bachchan is his newest admirer.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, on Thursday, shared an appreciation tweet for Abhishek Bachchan in which he expressed that his son has proved to be a fitting 'uttaradhikaari'.

Sharing the trailer of 'Dasvi', Amitabh Bachchan quoted his father, writer-poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and wrote, "Mere bete, bete hone se tum mere uttradhikari nahi hoge. Jo mere uttradhikari honge, wo mere bete honge - Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Abhishek, tum mere uttradhikari hoge, bus keh diya to keh diya."

Directed by Tushar Jalota, 'Dasvi' revolves around the story of Ganga Ram Chaudhary, an "illiterate, corrupt and rural" politician who finds a "new challenge" in prison i.e. education.

Apart from Abhishek, the film also features Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur.
Nimrat is playing the role of Bimla Devi, Chaudhary's wife and Yami will portray the character of IPS officer Jyoti Deswal.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the 'Dasvi' will be released on Netflix India and Jio Cinema on April 7.
