Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 2' gets release date; get ready for 'another thrilling journey'

Drishyam 2 Release Date: Get ready for another thrilling journey as the sequel to the 2015 thriller Drishyam — Drishyam 2 — has got a release date. Ajay Devgn and Tabu are going to be seen in the lead roles. The film is a remake of the Mohanlal-starrer of the same title.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that actor Akshaye Khanna has also joined the team. However, the details about his character have not been disclosed yet.

While announcing the release date of Drishyam 2, actress Tabu wrote, “#Drishyam 2 releasing in theatres on 18th November 2022.” Likewise, actor Ajay Devgn also announced the release date on his social media accounts.

Drishyam revolves around the story of a family man Vijay Salgaonkar, which was played by Ajay Devgn, who did all that he could to protect his family after an unfortunate incident.

In an incident, his elder daughter brought them under the police’s scanner. Tabu played the role of Meera Deshmukh, an Inspector General of Police. In the sequel, the filmmakers promised to take the audience on “yet another thrilling journey.”

Earlier, Tabu had shared pictures from the sets of Drishyam 2 and wrote, “Day 1. Drishyam 2”. The sequel went on floors in the month of February. Also, Tabu welcomed Akshaye Khanna to the team with an Instagram post. She wrote: “Delighted to have a gem of an actor on board for #Drishyam2 Akshaye Khanna #TrulyTalented.”
