Anupam Kher Off To New York To Shoot American Series 'New Amsterdam'. Bollywood actor, Anupam Kher will be out of India for next few months to shoot medical drama “New Amsterdam”. "New Amsterdam" is inspired by Bellevue, the oldest public hospital in America, the series follow the brilliant Dr. Max Goodwin is the newest Medical editor who sets out to tear up the Bureaucracy and provide the exceptional care.
This is Anupam Kher's Instagram post in which he is intimating his fans about the shoot of his upcoming American Series "New Amsterdam". In the video, he is saying that he will be out of his country for next few months. He further said that definitely he will be missing everything but he is taking blessings of his father along with him.

Anupam Kher said in a statement, "NBC's New Amsterdam is anticipated as the next big thing in international television. I'm glad that the medical drama has been selected among other shows of NBC for this upcoming season. It's quite an interesting show and the role is challenging enough to push the envelope as an actor."
The series is inspired by Bellevue, the oldest public hospital in the US, the series also stars Freema Agyeman, Ryan Eggold, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims and Tyler Labine. Anupam Kher and Agyeman have previously together worked in Netflix's sci-fi drama "Sense 8". "New Amsterdam" has been directed by Kate Dennis and produced by David Schulner, Peter Hortan and Universal Television.
Talking about more of his upcoming projects, he will be seen in “The Accidental Prime Minister”, introducing what he called the “political cast” of the movie. “The first of its kind motion picture from India. There are so many people behind our passionate project, but director Vijay Gutte has really worked hard. Hope you love our labour of love.
The political drama is based on the memoir by Indian policy analyst Sanjaya Baru, “The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh”. Anupam plays the former Prime Minister in the movie.
