Aamir Khan Daughter's wedding preparations: The Khan household is buzzing with excitement as the wedding preparations for actor Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, are in full swing. Ira is set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, on January 3.

The festive atmosphere has taken over both Aamir and his first wife Reena's Mumbai residences, with lights and decorations creating a magical ambiance. Pictures shared online showcase the houses adorned with flowers and lights, giving a sneak peek into the grand celebration.

Ira recently shared glimpses of the pre-wedding festivities on her Instagram stories. In one video, guests are seen enjoying a traditional Maharashtrian-style dinner. Notably, Aamir's ex-wife, Kiran Rao, was also present, savoring the meal with joy.

In another picture, Ira, accompanied by Nupur, actor Mithila Palkar, and others, radiates happiness. Ira captioned the story, "The wedding festivities have begun." She looked stunning in a red saree with a minimalistic no-makeup look, while  Nupur opted for a red kurta paired with a golden jacket and black pyjamas.

Ira and Nupur got engaged on November 18 the previous year, surrounded by close friends and family. The engagement ceremony was a joyous occasion with the Khan family, including Imran Khan, Aamir's ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, and actor Fatima Sana Shaikh, all sharing in the happiness.

The couple announced their wedding date through an Instagram post, revealing that they will exchange vows on January 3, 2024. Aamir Khan, who shares Ira with his ex-wife Reena Dutta, has been happily involved in the celebrations. Aamir and Kiran got married in 2005 and welcomed their first son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011.

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, and although they separated in 2002, their strong bond is evident as they celebrate the joyous moments in their daughter's life. With the wedding day approaching, the Khan family and friends are eagerly anticipating a beautiful celebration of love and union.
