Amitabh Bachchan injured on sets of 'Project K' in Hyderabad; deets inside

Amitabh Bachchan news: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has recently confirmed that suffered an injury on the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. The actor said that he had a severe injury to his ribcage while shooting for his upcoming movie.

Amitabh Bachchan injured on the shoot 

The 'Don' actor cracked his rib cartilage while shooting the action sequence of the movie. Further, after the indent took place he was immediately rushed to the hospital in Hyderabad for emergency treatment so that he could have some rest before going back home to Mumbai. However, the legendary actor informed that he got injured and broke his rib cartilage in addition to a muscle tear to the right rib cage.

Amitabh Bachchan's injury details 

The actor talked briefly about his injuries. He said that the filming was cancelled and he was taken to the AIG hospital in Hyderabad for his CT scan. Further, he said that the process was very painful and he suffered pain whenever he made any movement or breathed. Lastly, he wrote that it would take some time to get fully recovered.

In addition to this, the 'Goodbye' actor also revealed that the work on the film is temporarily halted and will resume after the actor recovers. Lastly, he wrote that he won’t be able to meet his well-wishers at Jalsa Gate as he is not in the condition to do so. 

Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming projects

On the work front, Amitabh will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’ along with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone which is based on Indian science fiction. The movie will hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. He will also be seen in 'Adipurush' along with Prabhas, and Kriti Sanon.
