Ayushmann Khurrana Takes a Tour of the New Parliament; Says 'Feeling Proud'

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, known for his roles in various films, recently had the opportunity to visit the newly inaugurated Parliament building in New Delhi. This significant visit occurred shortly after Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, unveiled the impressive architectural marvel.

Ayushmann Khurrana Visits the New Parliament

During his visit, Khurrana was given a guided tour of the Parliament, where he marvelled at its grandeur and significance in representing India's vibrant democracy. The actor, who has been honoured with National Awards for his outstanding performances, expressed his gratitude for the privilege to explore this iconic institution.

Reflecting on his experience, Khurrana remarked, “It was an honor to visit the Parliament. As a proud citizen of this country, it’s a moment that I will never forget. I found the experience of visiting the new Parliament extremely enriching. The Parliament is representative of the people of our country, so it was a really proud moment for me to walk around the haloed Parliament and learn so much about it.”

The new Parliament building seamlessly integrates various elements of India’s rich heritage. From sculptures representing different regions of the country to intricately crafted carpets from Uttar Pradesh and a remarkable 36 kg Foucault pendulum from Kolkata, Khurrana was fascinated by the cultural diversity showcased within the premises.

Khurrana enthusiastically shared, “It is a sight for the eyes as it also showcases the amazing heritage of our country, our cultural history, and the brilliant craftsmanship of India. It's filled with art from across the country as I think about 400 artisans have been featured here! I’m thrilled to have got this massive opportunity to witness the Parliament first hand.”
