Ayushmann's love for cricket runs deep, and not many know that he once played cricket at the district level as an under-19 player. Reflecting on those fond memories, Ayushmann shared, "I'm not just a big fan of cricket. I played under-19 district-level cricket! It is one sport that I truly love and follow with a lot of passion. I would have seriously considered pursuing it as a profession if I hadn't been drawn to entertainment."

He's also an avid follower of other exciting matches even when India isn't on the field. "I want this World Cup to be as exciting as possible. You can definitely call me obsessed when it comes to cricket and Team India," he exclaimed in a statement.
