'Big Band Theory' Season 2: Akriti Kakar's Big Band Theory is a brand-new live event concept that features great live musicians and attempts to give classic songs a modern twist. The first song 'Mawaan Te Dhiyaan' will exclusively release on PTC Punjabi and PTC Chak De.

Akriti Kakkar is back with Big Band Theory's second season following the first season's enormous popularity. With some of the most coveted and renowned musicians, the second season covers Punjabi folk music in a variety of styles. The second season is bigger, better, and more beautiful acoustically thanks to the addition of a band with incredible performers and a huge string section.

Collaborations with Shankar Mahadevan, Sukriti-Prakriti & Nirmal Kakar, Shaan, Nikhita Gandhi-Shashwat, and Romy are part of the new season. Songs Big Band Theory's second season includes 5 tracks that highlight Punjabi folk music in a wide range of styles with a new and modern vibe.

'Mawaan Te Dhiyaan' (Akriti Kakar x Sukriti-Prakriti x Nirmal Kakar)

This song, which the Kakar sisters and their mother Nirmal Kakar collaborated on, discusses the mother's bond with her daughters. Mawaan te Dhiyaan, written by Gurpreet Saini and composed by Akriti Kakar, oozes mother-daughter love's purest sentiments.
