Ektaa Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 gets postponed; Set to release on this date
Industry fame, Ektaa Kapoor has always been known for her brave take of creating buzzing cinema's. Over the years, she has produced numerous adult content which needs a serious paren tal supervision, but as specific, her movies has a target audience and that can clearly be seen. One among her many projects, Love Sex aur Dhokha created immense buzz when it first came out in 2010. Now after almost 14 years of whopping gap, Ektaa Kapoor is back with it's sequel 'Love Sex aur Dhokha 2' which was earlier set to release on February 16, 2024, have been now postponed, and received it's new release date.
It was back in later-half of the year 2023, when the first news regarding it's sequel broke down and ever since, the makers have kept the filmy fanatics anticipated with all their bated breaths. Generating considerable anticipation ever since it's announcement, the film has now recieved a fresh release date. The sequel which was earlier marked to release on 16th February, 2024 has been postponed until April and as per the recent announcement, Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 will now hit the theatres on 19th April, 2024.
On the occasion of Valentines Day, Ektaa Kapoor has taken over her Instagram handle and shared a post made in collaboration with Balaji Motion Pictures. The post captioned, "Yeh Valentine's Day nahin aasan, bas itna samajh lijiye, Love Sex Aur Dhokha ka dariya hai aur doob ke jaana hai! #LoveSexAurDhokha2 in cinemas 19th April."
Meanwhile, the upcoming comedy drama has been directed by Dibakar Banerjee and backed by Ektaa Kapoor as well as Shobha Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Telefilms Limited and Cult Movies.
In October, 2023, the makers broke down the sequel news and had tentalised the audiences by sharing various posters and creatives on the same. Speaking of the storyline, it will take around the complexities of love on modern day, a riveting tale of love and betrayal to be precise. Previously, the makers have smartly taken the advantage of 30th October, 2023 that was also marked as the National Dhokha Day to announce the sequel. Sharing a poster on the socials, the caption stated, "If you've also experienced Love Sex aur Dhokha, today is the day to celebrate (heart-break emoji) #NationalDhokhaDayLSD2."
