Gadar 2 is a follow-up to the popular 2001 film "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha," for those who are unfamiliar. In the original, Sunny Deol played the courageous truck driver Tara, and Ameesha Patel played Sakina. The drama was set against the turbulent backdrop of India's 1947 split.
