Indira Krishna has been confirmed to play Kausalya in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana; Here's everything you should know

Previously, the makers have announced the stellar star casts that has ignited the ethusiastic flames among the audience more. But a recent update has confirmed the actor protraying Kausalya, mother of Lord Ram. 

Indira Krishna to play Kausalya in Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana? 

Actress Indira Krishna who is often known for honning elderly roles in the Indian television and cinema. The one who is currently basking her role of Rajmata Durgavati in the fantasy drama 'Dhruv Tara: Samay Sadi Se Pare' has been reportedly roped off for the portrayal of Maa Kausalya, who is the birth mother of Lord Ram. Amid the casting actors of the Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus, the actress has posted a selfie with actor Ranbir Kapoor, who will be essaying Ram in the upcoming movie. The picture on her gram's handle stirred quite a buzz as confirming the significant role.

Indira Krishna's Confirmation in Ramayana  

On Tuesday, 26th March, 2024, actor Indira Krishna has taken over her official Instagram handle and shared a joyous selfie along with Ranbir Kapoor. While sharing the selfie, she has expressed her gratitude to be able to capture a photograph with the youth's starry sensation. "Ahaaaa look whose here.....RK my all time. But it was after the picture went viral, the confirmation has been made by a renown media forum. As per the source, "The makers have cast veteran actress Indira Krishnan to play the role of Kausalya, who was the biological mother of Lord Rama. The actress was also last seen in action-thriller film Animal, which also featured Ranbir. In that movie, she played Rashmika Mandanna's mother and shared a great report with the starcast. People loved her professionalism and appropriated her acting and kind behaviour. It was Ranbir who suggested her for the role."

Speaking of other rumored actors of the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari's Hindu epic drama also states that actor Sunny deol has been startling the riddles to play the role of Ram bhakt Hanuman inlcuding Vijay Sethupathi in the role of Vibhishana and Ravi Dubey has been slatted for the role of Lakshman and Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita respectively. However as per the reports, Vijay Sethupati's part in the movie has been confirmed as a media source has earlier said, "Nitesh Tiwari recently met Vijay Sethupathi and took him through the script and the world that he is looking to create with Ramayana for the spectacle. Vijay was blown away by the narration and the visuals and has shown his interest in the film."Meanwhile, the makers have yet to confirm the news that are flooding-in in the industry currently, and which is eagerly anticipated by the masses. However, the movie is expected ti hit the cinemas during the Diwali celebration of the next year.
