Katrina Kaif Spills the Beans on Her 2-Month Intensive Training for Salman Khan's Action-Packed Tiger 3
The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie 'Tiger 3' has been creating a constant buzz ever since it's announcement earlier and bringing slices of the action-thriller with each passing day. Previously, with the released posters, 'Tiger Ka Message' video along with the trailer, the third installment is presenting a whopping craze within the Bollywood's landscape. Featuring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, Tiger 3 is one of the most highly anticipated movie of the year. While the plot seems to bring in another intriguing story, female lead Katrina Kaif's character Zoya will be a much awaited character to get unveiled in the theatres.

Interestingly, Katrina Kaif is the first female lead in Bollywood's spy universe where she was seen playing the leading roles in the two movies released previously, starring alongside Salman Khan, 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hain' respectively. Meanwhile, the actress will be reprising her character 'Zoya' in the upcoming sequel of the Tiger Franchise, Tiger 3. Matching the similar tone of bravery, intelligence and fierceness along side Salman Khan, Aditya Chopra has truly given an impeccable female spy character to his fictional extravaganza.
As seen earlier, Zoya in Tiger franchise has always rose a step higher is characterizing her character as a strong and moving spy. Previously, the makers along with Kat herself talked about her character in Tiger's third installment and called it 'pushing the envelop higher' this time. As per the actress, she has delved through a rigorous training for 60 days to pull off the challenging character while following through the larger-than-life action sequences. "Tiger 3 shows that there is nothing that a woman can’t do when it comes to saving her family or a nation or humanity. A character like Zoya is important and necessary to tell people that girls can be nurturers as well as fierce protectors. Zoya is one of the most cherished roles of my career!" Katrina continued while talking about Zoya.

While thanking the YRF for making the role so fierce with every coming installment, she expressed how 'Zoya' was her dream come true as she always wanted to get into the spy realm. Proceeding further she said, "I love action as a genre, and playing a spy is a dream come true. I knew that this was going to be a part of my legacy, so I always give my 200 percent for this franchise. Every Tiger film has taken Zoya’s character a notch above, and she has fought harder, and it has been bloodier. That’s the USP of the character, which I love!" Making her fans dive more in the moving role, she shared her journey as Zoya in the upcoming movie. "For Tiger 3, my action prep was at least for about two months. We wanted Zoya to look agile, have more speed, and greater strength. I really had to go through the grind and it was definitely the toughest training of my career so far, when you see the kind of action that Zoya has done, you will realize that such sequences may not have been attempted by a woman before," she added.
About 'Tiger 3'
Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the sequel will bring back the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles playing the pivotal characters under the YRF's spy universe. Previously, it's first part 'Ek Tha Tiger'(directed by Kabir Khan) was came into theatres in 2012, followed by it's sequel 'Tiger Zinda Hain'(directed by Ali Abbas Zafar) on 2017 and it's third installment is coming after 6 whopping years. Meanwhile, As per Salman's running legacy, Tiger 3' is going to release on 12 November coinciding with Diwali 2023.
