The 32-year-old actress, known for her impressive performances in films such as "Bareilly Ki Barfi" and "Luka Chuppi," expressed her deep-rooted passion for filmmaking as the driving force behind her decision. She shared a captivating video clip on the social media platform, capturing her journey in the magical world of cinema over the past nine years. In her heartfelt post, she wrote, "I’ve been in this magical industry living my dreams for 9 years. I’ve taken baby steps, learnt, evolved & grown into the actor I am today! I absolutely lovvvee every bit and aspect of film-making."

Adding to the excitement, Kriti Sanon announced that her younger sister, Nupur Sanon, will join her as the co-founder of Blue Butterfly Films. The duo aims to bring their unique vision and creative ideas to the forefront of the Indian film industry.

Notably, some observant fans drew a connection between Kriti Sanon's new production banner and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Kriti and Sushant shared a close friendship and had previously worked together in the film "Raabta" released in 2017.

Following Sushant's untimely demise in 2020, Kriti has often paid tribute to him. It was discovered that Sushant frequently used blue butterflies in his Instagram posts' captions, prompting fans to inquire about the symbolism. In response, Sushant explained that the blue butterfly signified emergence, resonance, and a connection between individuals, delving into various fields such as chaos theory, complexity theory, fractals, and cognitive science.

On the other front, Kriti Sanon's last appearance in Om Raut's "Adipurush," where she portrayed the character of Janaki.
