"Lal Salaam": A Political Drama by Aishwarya Rajinikanth Begins Filming

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of legendary Indian actor Rajinikanth, has started filming for her directorial comeback "Lal Salaam" in Chennai. This announcement was made through the official Twitter Account of its production house ‘Lyca Productions. In the new poster, a group of men wearing white uniforms can be seen battling against the backdrop of raging flames. While the storyline of the film remains undisclosed, there are reports that suggest "Lal Salaam" will revolve around the theme of cricket.

The first schedule might go on for a week or longer, but the lead actors are expected to take a break over the weekend because of CCL.

As the lead actors are also playing for the ongoing CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) and the film story plot is based on cricket, it would be interesting to see both of them utilizing their on-ground training for the on-screen role.

Talking about ‘The Great Rajinikanth' role, it’s a special appearance with some crucial importance in the story. We will be seeing his scenes for a significant amount of time and he will be joining the shoot after completing his ongoing project ‘Jailer’.

Jeevitha Rajashekar is playing the character of Rajnikanth’s sister in the film and she is also making her comeback as an actor after being away for a long 33 years.


This film has already generated a lot of buzz in the Tamil film industry, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what Aishwarya brings to the table as a director. She has previously directed hit films such as "3," starring Dhanush, and "Vai Raja Vai." Aishwarya has also directed a documentary titled "Cinema Veeran," which chronicles the journey of stunt choreographers in the Tamil film industry.
