Preity Zinta Harrased in Mumbai, Calls out Paparazzi for lack of Empathy

Actor Preity Zinta was recently caught on camera by photographers as she was getting into her car. However, as her car began to move, a man in a wheelchair started following her. Despite the potentially dangerous situation, some of the photographers present on the scene reportedly found the incident amusing and even laughed at it. Preity Zinta criticized them for their lack of empathy, pointing out that instead of filming and laughing, they should have offered help. She also expressed concern that if an accident had occurred, she would have been blamed for it.

Preity Zinta further explained that she did not have any cash on her as she was in a hurry to catch a flight. She also mentioned that the man in the wheelchair had harassed her for money in the past and that she had given him some whenever she could. However, on this occasion, she could not provide him with any cash, and a lady accompanying her had to give him some money from her purse. The man, however, threw the money back at her, indicating his dissatisfaction.

In addition, Preity Zinta recounted another troubling incident involving a stranger who approached her daughter, wanting to take her picture. Although Preity Zinta politely asked the woman not to, the stranger suddenly grabbed her daughter, gave her a wet kiss next to her mouth, and ran off, stating how cute she was. Preity Zinta emphasized that her children should not be treated like celebrities and that they are not meant to be preyed upon by others. She called on the paparazzi and fans to respect her children's privacy, not take any pictures of them, or touch or grab them.

Preity Zinta's statement came after she and her husband, Gene Goodenough, welcomed their twins, Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough, in 2021. The incidents she faced left her shaken, prompting her to speak out and raise awareness about the importance of respecting children's boundaries and privacy.
