Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas Seek Legal Action Over Mold Infestation in Los Angeles Mansion

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the celebrity couple, have faced a big problem with their fancy house in Los Angeles. Since 2019, they've been living in a beautiful mansion worth $20 million. Sadly, they had to leave their dream home due to water damage that caused mold to grow everywhere.

Reports say Priyanka and  Nick are not happy about this. They've even taken legal action against the person who sold them the house. They want compensation for all the trouble they've faced. Their house turned into a nightmare because of the mold. It became so bad that they couldn't live there anymore. The mold was caused by water leaking into the house.

As per the reports, it is stated that a lawsuit was filed in May 2023 mentioning that the pool and spa area of the couple’s LA home started facing issues like ‘porous waterproofing’ after the purchase that led to “fostered mold contamination and related issues." The complaint also said that around the same time, there was another water leak in the barbecue area on the deck after which it became “virtually unlivable” and “dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.”

In their legal complaint filed in May 2023,  Priyanka and Nick said their house had become dangerous because of the mold. They couldn't stay there without risking their health. The mold even spread to their deck where they had a barbecue area. The lawsuit also mentioned that fixing the house would cost a lot of money somewhere between $1.5 million and $2.5 million.

For now, Priyanka, Nick, and their daughter, Malti Marie, have moved into another house until their old one is fixed. Even though they travel a lot for work, they like to call Los Angeles their home.

Nick Jonas, along with his brothers, recently visited India for a music festival called Lollapalooza. Despite their busy lives, Priyanka and Nick are trying to deal with their house problem and get back to normal life as soon as possible.
