Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan finally overtakes Pathaan by earning more than Rs. 700 crore as box office recovery!
Highest recovery in Bollywood: Atlee's directorial 'Jawan' so far had been the most widely accepted movie of the year. Yearning records one after another, the film is surpassing boundaries of earlier records set by the mega Bollywood ensembles. As the movie has received it's theatrical release on September 7, 2023, people nearly went gaga on the creative, captivating power of the creators as well as by the stellar casts. Meanwhile Shah Rukh Khan is on his record-breaking spree as his previous release of the year 'Pathaan' did an exceptional job in box office recovery and earned Rs.650 crore. Jawan on the other hand has taken the notch a bit higher with recoveries of over Rs. 700 crore from the revenue streams.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan starrer action thriller has overtaken it's fifth weekend with a whopping amount of Rs. 1134 crore worldwide, Rs. 743 crore from the Indian sphere and garnered Rs. 391 crore from the overseas market. While this is not the concluding recovery of the mega action movie, it has more power to progress! As per the experts, Jawan is expected to earn Rs. 1170 crore by the end of it's theatrical window. Looking at the other nook and corner of it's record breaking stats, it also fetched a whopping amount of Rs. 250 crore for its digital, satellite and music rights.
2023 is SRK's year!
As it is SRK's second movie of the year to see such an intriguing success, after Pathaan released in January, the star is serving his fans with surreal whoops. With it's emerging success, Shah Rukh is undoubtedly living his historic box office life, Pathaan which was followed by Jawan has yet another anticipated upcoming movie Dunki which is highly expected to break the benchmarks once again. Speaking of Dunki, it will be SRK's first ever collaboration with iconic Rajkumar Hirani which is slatted to get release in Christmas, 2023.
