He expressed frustration over the false news, pointing out how such rumours can create unnecessary stress, especially for his loved ones. "What may have started as a joke by someone is now playing with the emotions of those who care about me," he wrote.

Shreyas also shared how the rumour had affected his family, particularly his young daughter. He explained that the false news had made her more anxious about his well-being, leading to difficult conversations with her friends and teachers. "This false news only deepens her fears," he said, highlighting the emotional impact of the hoax.

The actor then called on those spreading the rumour to consider the harm they were causing. Shreyas ended his message by asking people to stop spreading false news and to be more sensitive in the future. The rumours had caused a spike in online searches for the actor, reflecting the widespread concern among his fans.

This incident comes after a tough time for Shreyas, who had a heart attack in December 2023 and was hospitalized. He described his recovery as a "miracle." On the work front, Shreyas is set to appear in the upcoming comedy film Welcome to the Jungle, alongside Akshay Kumar, which is expected to release this December.
