Yash Chopra's wife Pamela Chopra passes away at 74

Pamela Chopra, the wife of Yash Chopra, died this morning, April 20. Aged 74, she was. Indian playback singer Pamela Chopra was well-known. She had her own career as a screenwriter and producer. She spent the previous 15 days hospitalised at Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, according to the reports. The medics placed her on a ventilator, but her condition worsened. Her funeral ceremonies will soon provide further information. The family has not yet made a statement public.

The reports state that Pamela spent the previous 15 days hospitalized at the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai. Even when the physicians put her on a ventilator, her health continued to deteriorate. Information on her funeral has not yet been released by the family.  She was heard describing her husband's experience as a filmmaker during her most recent appearance in The Romantics. She also provided insight into how Yash Chopra produced films in spite of a challenging box office period. The origins of Pamela, Aditya, and Uday's production company—now one of the biggest in the nation—were discussed.

In a traditional ceremony, Pamela married Yash Chopra in 1970. Aditya and Uday Chopra, their two boys, were born to them. Producer and director of motion pictures, Aditya. Rani Mukerji, whom he is married to. Actor and producer of films, Uday.

From Kabhie Kabhie (1976) through Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Pamela Chopra has sung various movie songs, all for the films her husband has directed (2002). She worked independently to create the 1993 movie Aaina. Together with her husband Yash Chopra, her son Aditya Chopra, and seasoned author Tanuja Chandra, Pamela also contributed to the writing of the Dil To Pagal Hai script, which was produced by her husband in 1997.
