BMCM actor Akshay Kumar revisits his childhood; Talks about buying his old home where he once paid Rs. 500 as rent
Akshay Kumar is one of the most prolific actors of the country, who had his own parts of struggle before landing into the Bollywood industry. As the actor is currently bracing himself for the release of his upcoming movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay could be seen visiting places and interviews for the film's unabashed promotion along with co-actor Tiger Shroff. During a recent chit chat on a podcast, the Khiladi actor talked about many aspects of life and profession, specially childhood.

Recently, both the BMCM stars were seen embracing a YouTube podcast where Akshay Kumar stole the show with his extreme humbleness. During the chit-chat, Kumar took his fans to his childhood spent in Mumbai and his school, Don Bosco Public School. While speaking on the same, he revealed that he is currently planning to buy his previous home where once his family used to pay Rs. 500 as a living rent. Akshay said, "Mujjhe pata nahi kya psychology hai lekin mujhe accha lagta hai waha jaana. Mujhe accha lagta hai mere purane ghar me jaana. Humara purana ghar rent pe tha, hum ₹500 rent dete the. To abhi suna hai wo building tut rahi hai. To maine usko bola hua hai ki mujhe teesra maala kharidna hai kyunki main waha rehta tha. Do bedroom ka flat hai, ban rha hai. Proceeding further, Akshay Kumar talked more of his childhood and revealed his roots vividly. Explaining further about their Rs. 500 rental house, he said, "Koi hai nahi waha mera par wo ek rakhna hai. Kyuki mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai hum jab rehte the to daddy 9-6 kaam pe jaate the. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an Ali Abbas Zafar movie with a multi starrer star casts which includes Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the leading roles alongside other actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha. Meanwhile, the mega action thriller has been backed by Zafar himself along with Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra under the banners of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. Made with a budget of Rs. 350 crore, the movie has been so far slatted to get release on Eid, 10 April, 2024.
