In those days, he secured a job at the 'Sea Rock Hotel' in Mumbai, where he was entrusted with a range of responsibilities, from washing dishes to cleaning. Additionally, he dabbled in modeling on the side. His maiden paycheck of 600 rupees, earned from the hotel job, was tenderly handed over to his mother.
A Dry Spell of Several Years in the Aftermath of His Debut
Ronit Roy revealed that during his initial days, he attended numerous auditions. Subsequently, he received an enticing offer to star in the film 'Jaane Tere Naam,' which garnered significant acclaim. However, following this success, Ronit encountered a four-year period of joblessness. It was during this challenging time that he joined Balaji Telefilms and began making cameo appearances in various TV serials. It was his portrayal of Rishabh Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor's serial 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' that catapulted him to fame.
