Recently during an interview, Rani Mukerji spoke about many aspects of her personal life including her 8-year-old daughter Adira Mukerji. The proud mother revealed her daughter's favorite movie from Rani's professional work catalogue and also unveiled the reason. During the interview, the evergreen actress took a deep dive into her starry career including her various roles. However, the attention was grabbed by the masses while during the audience interaction round, she was asked from the audience if her starlet daughter have watched all of her films and if yes, what is her favorite pick?

Hum Tum is Adira's favorite movie and here's why? 

Anwering to the question with all smiles, Rani gasped, "So, actually she has not seen all my films because she is really very young but her favorite film of mine out of the films that I’ve shown her is Hum Tum because that is the only film I’ve not cried much because she gets really affected when she sees me cry onscreen. She can’t differentiate between her mumma and the character." Describing about the crying scenes further, she told, "So, when I cry on screen she feels mumma is crying and mumma is hurt. So, she can’t complete a film of mine because mere har film mein koi na koi rone ka scene hai (In all of my films, there is one emotional scene or the other). So, I think when she becomes a little older, maybe she will be able to watch all my films in a way that she’ll disconnect me from my character."

Speaking off her professional front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in the 2023 thriller drama 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' inspired from a real life incident of 2011 wherein children are taken away from a Indian Norwegian family by the child welfare services for holding an unfit custody. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the movie has grabbed lots of love and global attention from the Bollywood fanatics. Apart from the intense drama, she was also featured in the OTT documentary series 'The Romantics.'
