Hollywood fame, Dwayne Johnson has recently opened up about his mental state. During an interview in a podcast, Dwayne was seen opening up about the dark phases of life where he spoke bluntly about depression, to which Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was seen reacting to his published interview on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Deepika who herself fought depression back in 2015 had been relentlessly giving importance to the public mental health. Hence started her own foundation 'Live Laugh Love' in the same year to help people who are battling with mental illness. On Sunday, Deepika has taken over her Instagram story to share a post featuring Dwayne's mind chilling experience of depression and tagged her foundation and added 'Mental Health Matters' to pull people's attention towards the underrated illness.

Meanwhile, during an interview with 'Pivot Podcast' Dwayne Johnson referred numerous moments of his life where he felt uneasy with his mental state but didn't know what mental health was. This is the first time a global star like him has talked about his scars openly. He quoted, "I didn't know what mental health was, I didn't know what depression was. I just knew I didn't wanna be there." He started to feel the voidness back from the college. He remembered how a shoulder injury has ended his college Football career at the University of Miami. The same feeling of emptiness came back to his life when he got divorce but it was his daughters who helped in gracing in state of mind.

At the same time, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone talks about the importance of mental health wherever she goes and never leaves an opportunity on educating people about it's cruciality. On the work front, Deepika was last seen in 'Pathaan' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. After the global success of 'Pathaan', the actress is all set to be next seen in, 'Fighter' alongside Hrithik Roshan and 'Project K' opposite to Prabhas.
