Kalki 2898 AD: Disha Patani receives warm birthday wish from Kalki team with a new poster
Over the past many years, Kalki 2898 AD has become a constant talk of the town. In fact with its one-of-a-kind storyline and production, the Nag Ashwin directorial is the most bated Pan-Indian film of the year 2024. Recently, the makers of Kalki have left audiences enthralled by releasing its promising trailer, and for all the right reasons. With a stellar cast ensemble, the film will bring together acing stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
The makers are truly all set to leave an unfathomable mark in the Indian film industry with the dystopian sci-fi epic drama, Kalki 2898 AD. Meanwhile, after serving with its mind-boggling trailer, the makers have just now unveiled a new poster featuring Disha Patani on the special occasion of her 31st birthday. Disha who will be seen playing the character named Roxie seems all bold and sassy in the new poster and fans could not stop but gush on her riveting avatar.
By sharing the new poster on the Instagram handle, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD took the internet by storm. Below the post, the caption read, "Wishing our Roxie, @dishapatani a very Happy Birthday. #Kalki2898AD." Meanwhile, Roxie can be seen channeling her unmatchable energy as she donned a sassy black outfit head to toe. Disha's fans took over the comments section and wrote well wishes like, "Happy birthday Disha Patani mam," "Slaying the hotness" etc.
Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming 2024 Indian epic science-fiction dystopian film, co-written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Set to release in May 2024, the film will be led by a stellar cast ensemble that will rope off Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Dalquer Salmaan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in the pivotal roles alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Produced by C. Aswani Dutt, the film will be distributed under AA Films and it is made with a whopping budget of Rs. 600 crores. During a recent interview, actor Prabhas revealed that the Kalki 2898 AD lays the idea of reaching a global audience and not just sitting around Indian audiences, hence the cost of production was also in mass digits. Through a futuristic, dystopian perspective, its director Nag Ashwin is all set to bring a modern form of Mahabharata-inspired storyline set in the year 2898 AD. Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release globally on June 27, 2024.
