Kangana Ranaut Seeks Blessings at Guwahati's Sacred Kamakhya Devi Temple
Kangana Ranaut, the renowned Bollywood actor, recently visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati as she prepares for her highly anticipated film, 'Emergency'. She shared a special video of her visit to the sacred temple on her Instagram account, where she can be seen dressed in a purple-toned suit and draping a traditional red dupatta around her shoulder.
In the accompanying caption, Kangana expressed her reverence for the temple, stating that it is a place where the divine feminine energy is worshipped in the form of the goddess Kamakhya. Kangana also encouraged her followers to visit the temple whenever they are in Guwahati, concluding with the phrase, "Jai mayi ki," meaning "Victory to the Divine Mother."
Earlier in the day, Kangana delighted her fans by announcing a collaboration with producer Sandeep Singh for an upcoming magnum opus film. She expressed her excitement about working with Sandeep, with whom she has been friends for over thirteen years, and revealed that they had been longing to work together for a while. Kangana teased that the project would be the biggest film of her career, promising further details to be announced soon. However, she chose to keep the specifics of the project under wraps for the time being.
On the other hand, 'Emergency,' movie centers around the life of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kangana portraying the late politician in the lead role. 'Emergency' is slated to release in theaters on November 24, 2023. Kangana recently unveiled the official teaser of the film on her Instagram account, captioning it as a glimpse into the darkest phase of Indian history when the country's leader declared war on its own people. The teaser also revealed the global release date of 'Emergency' as November 24.
