Katrina Kaif Gets Candid: From leading a female action franchise to working with Ali Abbas Zafar shares her experience
Katrina Kaif is undoubtedly one of the most acing actress of the Bollywood industry. Currently, the actress is basking her successful contribution in the newly released 'Tiger 3', reprising her role of action star 'Zoya' alongside Salman Khan as 'Tiger'. Receiving all the positive appreciations for her action packed avatar, she has aced the role of Zoya in an unravelling manner. Kat has been working under the industry from last 20 years but it is her action packed character of Zoya, paving her with a new anticipation of a spin off character, wished by the Kaif's fanatics.

During a recent interview, Katrina Kaif went all candid with her longingness of a standalone movie of Zoya and about choosing movie scripts that feels relatable. As with the people's demand, everyone seeks Zoya's standalone movie franchise where she glazes as the leading star and nobody else. Answering to the same, she said, it is her long due greed of doing a female action franchise, leading it alone. As per her, she came hand in hand with the similar discussion alongside filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar during the pre-pandemic period. "Ali is a great friend and we discuss a lot of ideas. He is such a bright mind and is always thinking. The wheels in his mind are always turning. There are a few things we have always discussed and of course, Adi and I have also discussed many things. Everything has to align and it will happen," she quoted with utter enthusiasm.
Katrina Kaif talks about choosing scripts
Furthermore, Katrina talked about choosing the scripts unabashedly. As per the actress, she searches relatability in a movie script, whenever one comes to her. Adding more to her crispy statement, she addressed while saying, "I have always believed in being true to myself while making decisions, especially at this point in time, I am very conscious of doing the right things at the right time. The choices I made 8 years ago, might not be a choice I will make today. It’s all about connecting to the script and character. It’s about the stories I want to be a part of. So that’s what will drive me towards making my decision. It has always been this, but now, it’s even more. There are more barometers you run it by because you change as a person."
Speaking off her career, it is Sri Ram Raghavan's movie 'Merry Christmas' that will bring Katrina kaif back on the silver screen right after Tiger 3. As per her, she doesn't know what's coming next in her hands. At this moment she is entirely focusing on the upcoming movie and followed by the revelation, she obviously wants to choose a script wisely and wants to work in a happy work environment.
