Koffee With Karan Season 8; Ranveer Singh reveals his 24 hours continuous shoot for Simmba directed by Rohit Shetty; Know the reason why?

As the country's one of the beloved talk show 'Koffee with Karan' is coming back with it's 8th season, the sneak peek of it's upcoming episode is setting the internet by a whopping storm. The show's promo gave a leading view of it's first guest attendees, that will bring in Bollywood royalty couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to the heated couch of Karan Johar's escalading show. Fans who were waiting eagerly for the first celebrity duo as it's opening attendees has indeed didn't disappoint with the Deep-Veer peekaboo promo.

The upcoming episode of 'Koffee With Karan'

The much anticipated promo has aired recently glazing the appearance of the starry starry couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Meanwhile it is also going to be the couple's first ever moment coming into KJo's respective show which has ignited more excitement among their die-hard fanatics. As per the teaser, the couple will be delving into varying aspects of their life, from personal to professional highlighting their love story, marriage, engagement and proposal.

Ranveer Singh talks about his 'day & night' shoot for Rohit Shetty's Simmba

Meanwhile during a viral glimpse of the upcoming episode, Mr. Singh could be seen talking about his professional front and threw light on the 2018 movie 'Simmba', a superhit action drama from Rohit Shetty's blockbuster cop universe. During the couchy conversation, Ranveer Singh referred how Simmba director Rohit Shetty has paved his shoot's wrap before the schedule date so that he could attend the wedding ceremony with Deepika Padukone under bare hindrance. As per the actor, he remembered the shoots went for about 24 hours with zero break. "I called Rohit bhai and I said that aisa-aisa hai. He was like, thik hai, day night shoot karke khatam karenge tu jaa jee le apni zindagi," the actor quoted. Revealing it further, he said, "We shot day and night 24 hours round the clock towards the end of Simmba so I could make it for my wedding. I took the flight."

About 2018 movie 'Simmba'

Meanwhile, 'Simmba' is a 2018 action drama helmed by Rohit Shetty and produced under Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment and Dharma Productions. It was the third installment of the cup universe saga which also featured Ajay Devgn and Sara Ali Khan along with Ranveer Singh. Created under a 'not-so-big' budget, the movie garnered immense love and became a huge commercial hit with a whopping box office collection of Rs. 400.19 crore globally. 

As the earlier seasons and it's episodes, fans are utterly looking forward for some masala worthy moments, and some tea getting spilled by the power couple as well as by the tinsel town's godfather Karan Johar. That's the most generic expectation one could expect from 'Koffee with Karan' after-all! Meanwhile the first episode has been slatted to premiere on 26 October, 2023, exclusively on Disney Hotstar.
