Serious Men

Directed by Sudhir Mishra and based on the book of the same name by author Manu Joseph. In this adaptation, Siddiqui portrays Ayyan Mani, a Dalit assistant working under a Brahmin astronomer. Living in a slum with his wife and 10-year-old son, Ayyan becomes frustrated with his economic and social status. To change his circumstances, he fabricates a story about his son's exceptional intelligence, leading to unforeseen and dangerous consequences.
