The idea that pregnancy after the age of 40 is impossible or too risky is a common myth. While it is true that fertility declines with age, it is still possible for women over 40 to conceive naturally or with medical assistance. Arya Parvathi, a popular Malayalam actress successfully broke this myth by sharing some happy news with her fans on social media. The 23-year-old announced that her mother, aged 47, had given birth to a baby girl.
Expressing her excitement, Parvathi stated that she was thrilled to take on the role of a big sister as well as a mother to the new addition to their family. She wrote in the caption, "I am overwhelmed with joy as my little sibling arrives into our family after 23 years. I am ready to shower them with love and support. Come soon, little one!"

However, there are some risks associated with pregnancy later in life, such as a higher likelihood of complications like gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and pre-eclampsia.
