Shark Vineeta Singh talks about building a business with 'small' captial; Advises young entrepreneurs for a profitable start-up
Over the past years, Shark Tank has became a buzzing sensation ever since in ventured into the Indian television providing budding entrepreneurs with a spine to grow a start-up. Vineeta Singh is among the famous Sharks from the show who had grabbed her prowess ever since the show's first inception. The businesswoman who is also the founder of Sugar cosmetics has eventually helped in venturing various start-ups of the country and aced in bringing newness by investing in the same. Well, the business lady often times seen guiding people through various business ways.
Recently Vineeta Singh has taken the realm of business as a subject once again and threw light on the 'captial' factor to run a venture. Sugar founder, Vineeta has shared an informative video on her official gram handle aftyer an individual asked, "What is the minimum amount of capital needed to start a business?". From the sets of Shark Tank, she has spoken on the matterr vividly. In the video, she said, "Mukta ji, maine apne business mein ki shuruaat jab ki thi, kareeb 16 saal pehle, toh literally Rs 10,000 hi the. Toh aisi koi minimum rakam toh hoti nahi hai. Par, of course, struggle bahut hoti hai." Continuing further, she said, "Mujhe yaad hai, first 5 saal itni problem hoti thi ki kabhi kabhi ghar mein even Aqua guard lagane ke liye meri mom ne zabardasti aa ke mere ghar mein aqua guard laga diya tha. Kyunki uske bhi paise nahi the."
Proceeding further with her personal experience, she suggested people to have 'patience' as there is no short cut of cracking a successful business with a small or a large amount. Her suggestion followed, "Par agar aap patience se, dheere dheere apna business banayein, apne cash flow ko tightly manage aur rotate karein, financial discipline rakhein, hadbadi mein paise idhar udar naa kharche, toh mera maanna hai ki koi bhi rakam kam nahi hoti hai business start karne ke liye." Vineeta also gave examples from the sets of Shark Tank as she has seen impeccable businesses that stands on Rs. 100 crore worth, which once started with just Rs. 5000,10000 or 15000. "Par bahut zaroori hai ki aap apna profit hi nahi, apna working capital and cash flow par bhi kadi nazar rakhein. Because agar aapke paas paise nahi hain to start with, toh cash is going to be the queen for you," her words followed.
